I worked closely with Flux Animation who generated still frames for 3d rotating pedals. My job was to design the site and animate all the pedals in flash so that the user could turn every dial and switch to hear what the pedals sound like at the different settings – as if you were physically using it.

Enter Red Witch and their new website; the boutique pedal builder has taken things a step further and created a whole new way for gearheads to learn about and experience their pedals.

Red Witch’s site features cool Flash animations of each of their pedals that you can physically tweak (every knob and switch), then listen to a streaming audio sample of that setting. As an added bonus, you can “flip” the pedal over and see inside. It’s about as good of a tool as we’ve seen a company offer, and we’d love to see it replicated by, oh.. just about everyone.”
