The ‘Near me’ feature was introduced to explore activities and attractions that are nearby wherever you are in New Zealand. This  surfaced businesses to the user and showed a compass to indicate direction as well as distance. You can click to make a phone booking or save it to your wishlist which syncs to the newzealand.com site. A co-design workshops was run which turned into a mobile prototype and user tested before the new feature was added to the app.
